SERVE Weekend
SERVE Weekend engaged the Mt. Moriah Ministries in actively serving and recognizing those who serve in our community. Our service project was providing a free fish fry to the Lauderdale County and Florence First Responders. We recognized 11 members of the Shoals community for their service to the community.
Thanksgiving Dinner
The annual Thanksgiving dinner was started in 2017 by a group of young adults. We wanted to make sure everyone was able to celebrate the holiday with a hot meal and great fellowship. The past 2 years combined, we have fed nearly 1,000 people, including UNA students, members of the community, as well as first responders. We hope to continue to give back to the community this year and the years to come.
